i really like this character from the star wars books. but i hate her hair!!!!!! at least drawing it.... in the book she's described as having lots of braids in her red gold hair.... i have a hard time drawing ONE braid, never mind SEVERAL!
oh well, despite all my complaning i rather like how her hair turned out, i needed to use the cover art of the book as ref. as for her feet! I KNOW I CUT THEM OFF!!! i just ran out of space on the paper and got mad.... didn't feel like redrawing the whole thing. besides i thought it would turn out badly so i didn't really care when i noticed the feet were going to be cut off....


ANYWHO!!!! yes she only has one arm! i read the book in which she accidentally loses her left arm yesterday... i didn't know that was how she lost it!! i ain't tellin' you how in case you don't want to know, but it rather surprised me. i mean there WAS tones of foreshadowing and all that, but i thought she'd lose her arm during an actual to the death battle with the dark jedi or somethin'.

oh and her lightsaber is supposed to be made out of a rancor's tooth... unfortunately i could never properly imagine what it would look like.... so i jus' gave her a plain ol' lightsaber.
